Hi! I’m Victoria.
In January 2020, I left my corporate job to pursue a long lived dream of traveling the world. I created this blog with the intent of documenting my foodie-centric travels and sharing it with loved ones back at home. Due to COVID-19, my travels were cut short and I returned home to sunny Santa Cruz, CA sooner than anticipated.

By experimenting with new recipes, I get to continue my worldly travels through my tastebuds. Spending countless hours Googling and ogling at foods from different regions of the world is my guilty pleasure. It's also what gives me confidence to attempt new recipes in my home kitchen.
Sprinkled throughout the blog, you will also find stories and discoveries from my previous travels. As the travel world is put on pause at the moment, I hope my food and travel posts will satisfy your wanderlust.
The 80/20 Rule to Nutrition
Along with making recipes the authentic way, I often make renditions of the same recipe that will fit into various diets that include: paleo, keto, gluten free, vegan, and etc.
This blog reflects the recipes I cook in my own home and the foods I constantly crave. I follow to the 80/20 rule when it comes to indulgence, so you'll find recommendations as to how you can sub certain ingredients to make the recipe more nutrient dense or catered to a specific diet.
